Ok wow, I was just wandering around the internet and I stumbled across pictures of classic bodybuilders (google image search can lead you interesting pages), and I was looking at pictures of what is normally considered the manliest sport there is, causing several perfectly normal women to look like austrian pig weasels, and I discovered something.
BODYBUILDING IS THE GAYEST SPORT EXISTING.
sweet lord! Its gayer then interior decorating.
...ok.
its not THAT gay. But its pretty freakin' gay! Here, look, go there:
Classicbodybuilders.com. Look at some of these desperatly homoerotic photos. Careful though, most of these would be considered indecent by the long arm of the parental law, so if you have watchful eyes in your house you may want to wait till they're out buying groceries. But needless to say, these pages contain very (scarily) built men prancing about in what cannot not be described as anything else but a man thong. And theres this one magazine called Adonis that keeps taking pictures of these thong-clad twinkies, all oiled up and tanned in front of greek (MEEP MEEP. WARNING. GREEK HOMOSEXUAL TENDENCIES) columns whilest holding hands in queer little dance moves! ITS GAY PEOPLE! ITS SO GAY!

"No. No, you can't. ...STOP! Please don't go away. Please? No one's ever stuck with me for so long before. And if you leave...if you leave... I just, I remember things better with you! I do, look! P. Sherman, forty-two...forty-two... I remember it, I do. It's there, I know it is, because when I look at you, I can feel it. And...and I look at you, and I...and I'm home! Please...I don't want that to go away. I don't want to forget." -Dory, Finding Nemo.

Nothing else much new besides that, meeting today, I just put up the links to our schools website and to my and Rayna's blogs, just because I FELT like it. And I made the links pretty. The colors are up for commentary tho, I felt like the yellow would compliment the purple well. But whatever, im not too attached. Ok, im out.

Hey hey, hee, hee, homophobia se tiene que ir!
Pride was GREAT, guys! I had mucho
(and when I sez mucho, I means MUCHO), fun. I started out getting locked inside the quad of our highschool, which sucked, but Rayna let me out. Then we got on the T and then walked to copley, singing "Part of Your World" from the little Mermaid and "Build me up Buttercup" at the top of our queer little lungs. Blossoms from the trees where falling all around us and it made the moment magic and ethereal, afternoon in Boston with rainbow flags and a snow of flowers in the heat of summer. It was beautiful. We got there, and realized that Calista is a hot bed of gay connections. We hung around, listened to the people speaking, dipped our feet in the fountain and relaxed. Then we all lined up, and the parade went and THAT was excellent. We where all dancing and chanting, some of us in spanish. I had a ribbon dancer thing. It was fun. Then the parade ended at the Hatshell, (is it HATshell, or HALFshell? I never know.) which for those of you who dont know is a big auditorium. People sang and we pretty much hung out, at the day was finished off with the Senior B.A.D girls (Brookline Academy of Dance). Rayna can fill you in on BAGLY, seeing as I didnt attend. :) OK! So thats all from me. This is Captain Kangaroo wishing you an awkward evening and an edible new year.

Dudes.
Im ALL ABOUT youth pride this...whenever the post below this one says it is. This will be my first Youth Pride, I only found out like LAST WEEK that youth pride meant GAY youth pride, I thought it was just people who where really happy to be teenagers. The wednesday meeting was pretty uneventful today, if your one of those wacky people who are in to getting things done. Thank god I'm not. Today involved finishing off the sign for the rally, listening to some mad 80's tunes and then, the best part, was when a bunch of us sat around and sang "Part of your world" from the little mermaid. Man. Some things are just better then ice cream.

So
youth pride is next
Saturday, May 15th, and we were planning to make a banner for the march at the GSA meeting on Monday. Raya and Sarah were getting fabric from Christien. The days basic schedule is as follows;
~ 10:30 AM -
GLBT College Fair. Our highly acclaimed College Admissions Fair specifically intended to reach out to GLBT students will be held in Copley Square beginning at 10:30 AM
~ 12 noon -
Rally. Once again we are arranging for powerful and inspiring youth as well as adult speakers to raise our spirits over the rainbow in celebration of us, and what we have to look forward to!
~ 1 PM –
March. Our tenth triumphant parade through the streets of Boston *along a new route this year* banners proudly proclaiming the names of our schools and our groups, rainbow flags waving elatedly over our heads!
~ 2 PM – Festival at the Hatch Shell. Music, food, games and contests, information about supportive resources
for GLBT youth.
~
7-11 PM -
BAGLY PROM!! I'm going to try to be there, but there should be an AMAZING turn out regardless. Come! You know you want to. Take the green line to Government Center, and walk from there to city hall. If your not sure where that is, follow the men in heels.
